Product Review: Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream and Face Wash

Hi everyone! How are you all? Sorry for being MIA lately. Now am back for good and have lots of fun looks planned for you all. This post is something I have never done before and if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you must have guessed it already - It’s a product review! I had posted a picture of Garnier’s White Complete Multi action fairness cream and face wash last week and had taken up their #7daygarnierchallenge. These two products are supposed to work better together to provide you with an even looking skin so I have tried them together. Hope you like this review also I am not a beauty guru and all opinions are mine.

Garnier White Complete Multi action fairness cream

What the product claims -

1. Instant whitening.
2. Sun protection.
3. Long lasting fairness.

Retails for - Rs. 160

Net vol. - 40 g

My Experience -

The two things that attracted me towards this cream was the fact that it contained pure lemon extract and sun protection. Lemon is known as a natural bleach and it also helps to clarify and smoothen the skin. The cream also provides protection to the skin from UVA and UVB rays with an SPF of 19 PA +++.  The texture of the product is creamy, neither thick nor too runny. The smell is something that I love the most about this product! It’s a divine mix of lemon and some sort of fruity scent. The packaging of the product is quite sturdy as it is made of plastic and size of the container makes it easy to carry around. 

Pros -

1. Contains natural ingredients like lemon.
2. Provides good sun protection.
3. Very affordable.
4. Plastic packaging and easy to carry.
5. Smells great.

Cons - 

1. Product claims are false.
2. Doesn't provide even and brighter looking skin.
3. As I have a combination skin more on a dry side, I like my cream to be a runny so that it guilds on smoothly and get absorbed fast but this doesn't do that.

What the product claims - 

The product claims to help you discover a clear, radiant and even complexion.

Retails for - Rs. 145

Net vol. - 100 g

My Experience -

Again the face wash contains pure lemon extracts. It is quite concentrated. It lathers up well and leaves your skin clean and fresh from within but can make it a little dry. It has a mild lemon fragrance which washes off after I wash my face. The product comes in a white and yellow tube which makes it travel friendly.

Pros -

1. Lathers up well.
2. Smells lemony.
3. Very affordable.
4. Travel friendly.

Cons -

1. This face wash strips off all the oil from my skin making it more dry than it actually is. 
2. More suitable for people with oily skin.

Final Verdict -

After using both the products for 7 days, I feel these products don't do justice to what it claims. I won't be repurchasing these products again and I think they're definitely a miss.
